The novel Fahrenheit 415 by Ray Bradbury is a work of fiction that shows proper narrative structure. In this essay we will explore each phase of the narrative structure, as well as how it relates to the novel. Though it is split into three books, the novel as a whole follows narrative structure fairly well as well as on a per book basis.
Exposition in the novel is occurring when we learn of the firemen and what it is they do in this world. These firemen are far different than our own, starting fires as opposed to putting them out. Here we learn about our protagonist Guy Montag, and the pleasure he takes from doing his job of starting fires for a living. This world which is much like our own, but twisted by their own technological creations, and bound by rules which we wouldn’t dream of.

Clarisse is a young woman he meets who tells him of firemen’s original duties, as well as talking about the strange (and illegal) things her family partakes in. Though sad, we hear that Clarisse was killed in a car accident. Around the same time, Montag is faced with a woman who decided to die with her books, lighting the match herself, effectively committing suicide.
