None of us are perfect. We all have our mistakes, flaws, and imperfections. Regardless of this, we still all strive to be perfect. We work on ourselves by trying to fix the problems and become better people. In doing this, we try to develop the traits we want. Three personality traits I wish to embody are confidence, leadership, and reliability. A character trait that I find extremely important is confidence. This is a necessary character trait to be able to thrive and be successful. To have confidence is to trust in your ability to succeed, and many characters show this. This shows reliability because Charlie can rely on Joey because he knows he is responsible and most importantly, reliable. A second example of reliability is from the novel Of Mice and Men. The character that shows this trait is George. Lenny always relies on George for many things. He relied on him to get out of trouble, to feed him when they were hungry, and more. This shows reliability because Lenny can trust that George will help take care of him, no matter what. A third and final example of this trait is from the novel Fahrenheit 451. The character that exemplifies reliability is Faber. Faber shows this trait through his actions towards the end of the novel while Montag is on the run. Faber was always in Montag's ear, helping him out and aiding him while he was on the run. This shows reliability because Montag knew Faber had his back even though he was a wanted man. These characters help to show us how to be reliable and why it is so important to do so. The three personality traits I wish to embody are confidence, leadership, and reliability.
