The book is about how a guy named Montag went from a ruthless fireman who hated books and wanted them to be burned to a person who enjoys books after he stole a book from the firehouse. At the end of the story, Montag runs away from the city during an outbreak of war. The propaganda in my poster shows the citizens from a government perspective why books are bad. I use the number 451 because it represents fire. The number 451 represents fire because books are burned at 451 Fahrenheit. Another reason why I used the number 451 is that it means fire, and my propaganda poster is to convince the citizens that books are bad and should be burned into flames. My slogan on my propaganda poster is “Burn Books Down”. The reason why I put a slogan on my poster is because it gives more information about my propaganda poster. Another reason why my slogan is “Burn Books Down” is because it is short, simple, and easy to say and the message is clear to the targeted audience that books are bad and should be burned. My target audience is the citizens in the novel.
