FALCON 9 MAKES HISTORY IN SPACE TECHNOLOGY H ave you ever thought that the Rockets will be reused for space journeys? Strange right! But it is now possible due to the advancement made by Elon Musk’s SpaceX. Not too far into the future we will be reusing rockets for travelling to mars or any other planets. SpaceX is a privately funded company which designs, manufactures and launches advanced rockets and space crafts. It was founded in 2002 to revolutionize space technology, with the ultimate goal of enabling people to live on other planets and with a major goal to develop rapidly reusable launch system.

The rocket took off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, sending a communication satellite into orbit, and then landed on one of the SpaceX’s drone ships floating in the Atlantic Ocean. It was the second round for this particular rocket which had already been launched and landed during a mission in April 2016. The Falcon 9’s relaunch marks the first successful reuse for an orbital rocket and its return to Earth in one piece means, that the rocket is poised to launch for a third time.
“it has been 15 years to get to this point, it has taken us along time,” Musk said,” there were a lot of difficult steps along the way, but I am just incredibly proud of SpaceX for being able to achieve this incredible milestone in the history of space.”
If SpaceX wants to maximize the economic benefits of its reusable rockets, it has to launch these rockets as frequently as possible. But before a rocket can launch again, it has to be inspected, refurbished and tested a few times to ensure that it is ready for spaceflight. It took SpaceX just 4 months to get Falcon 9 ready for next flight. SpaceX has encountered so many setbacks before achieving this marvelous success.
