The question being asked is What Were the Primary Reasons for the "Fall" of Rome? After looking at these documents I conclude that the 3 reasons for the fall of Rome are natural disasters, military management, foreign invaders.
The first reason for the fall of Rome was about The plague that infected the roman empire by killing a lot of the population which would've served in the military and the flooding because buildings were getting destroyed which cost money to repair (doc f). According to Vegeitius, negligence and laziness led to the changes in Roman military armor and training techniques (doc B). I think this is the reason why the fall happened, is that the armor they had on it was rough and the army would get hit by arrows from yards away sometimes they couldn't even fight. Sometimes the army ran away from the fight than actually go fight and some of the Romans were actually happy they were being conquered. Sometimes they would take off their armor and fight and die instantly. The fighting techniques were horrible and none of the armies liked this. the third reason for the fall of Rome was Amminus use to describe the HUns as savage, brutal, ugly, unthinking animals, ignorant, Swift moving, and ungovernable. this document helps explain the reasons for the decline of the Roman empire by showing how it got attacked very often and around this time is when the Rome empire at its weakest state (doc c and d). why I think this is a reason for the fall of Rome because of the savage Huns and the way they attacked, Romans got a beating because of the Huns they described the Huns as savage and brutal because of how crazy they
