Desperate times requires for desperate measures. World War III has been declared, and with very little time we must preserve our greatest resource, life. Everyone wants to escape and survive the chaos, but only six citizens will be chosen. As a member of the Civil Defense Committee and appointed by the President of the United States, we must hand-pick the citizens who will be saved. The six candidates will be carefully selected to successfully rebuild this war stricken society.
Due to the size of the fall-out shelter and the limited living conditions, a selection process will occur. The selection process, will start immediately as the committee will take careful consideration during the selection and elimination of potential candidates until six are chosen. In order for the six citizens to be successful, they will need to set aside their differences, including; religion, sexual orientation, and personal belief and just to name a few for the better good of everyone. The names will be provided to the President to make a public announcement. After the announcement, limited time to spend with family, friends, and will be given time to gather personal items to help comfort them. During troubled times, it seems that people rely heavily on their spiritual beliefs. As a spiritual leader, the Priest will provide comfort through faith to unite and build a trusting relationship amongst one another and their personal Savior. Additionally, he will need to rely on his faith as he will be called to provide the gift of life. The second person selected is the 15-year-old apprentice carpenter, who will provide a long lasting lifeline and manual labor in rebuilding society.
