Throughout literature many authors has expressed the importance of family. As a reader I have noticed that the foundation of family is very strong and valued in all cultures. For instants in the Greek culture, the author Sophocles describes characters that are willing to scarify everything in order to protect and honor their family members. At times these characters are known as traitors because they are willing to break the law to support their family members.
