Family: The Story Of Anne Frank

521 Words3 Pages
The story of Anne Frank is about a girl living with 8 people in a small room, the Frank family, the Van Daan family, and a man named Dussel. In this story I think that family plays an important role. This is because when the families are having an argument the family stick up for each other. An example is on page 400. This is when Mr. Van Daan is stealing food, Mrs. Frank is accusing him and Mrs. Van Daan sticks up for her husband. When Mr. Van Daan says, “I’m hungry.” Mrs. Frank says, “He needs more food than the rest of us. He’s used to more he is a big man.” This shows that family is important living in the annex because they stick up for each other even if their actions are not well thought out. A character that compliments Anne’s personality
