In today's society it seems new ideas are sprouting out of every crack and crevice. However, in this surging wave of new inventions, shows, social trends, and social groups, the foremost in all three categories is anime. As of recent times it seems as though anime stands tall and prosperous among most others, gaining more and more momentum over the past decade. Almost without warning anime came and increased its influence at an astonishing rate and has now become somewhat of a global phenomenon with and ever-expanding audience in all age groups.

The earliest showing of Japanese culture in the west was "Astro boy" in 1963 that allowed a small resonance in the water "America." However, sometime in the 1960's the animated show "Speed Racer" …show more content…

Therefore, when more and more anime came over, parents were finding and deeming some of the content too inappropriate for television and that it needed to be censored. This led to multiple complaints and ended up with censorship and translation changes from Japanese to English. These changes sometimes even changed the outcome and plot of the anime. Luckily, this actually incited the creation of "Fan Subs." Even in 2016 Fan Subs are still current and ongoing and have gained a large popularity among Subtitle fans. What the community calls fan subbing is precisely what the name says, it's fans creating the subtitles for anime either by learning Japanese by themselves or taking classes to learn all that is necessary to create the …show more content…

Though not to such an extent that it would cost the animation studio a fortune. An excellent example is independent films and Hollywood such as if they have a failed movie that doesn't bring in the revenue that the producers had expected in their productions. It could potentially take down an entire series of movies or bankrupt the film producers. However, a smart way that was cleverly devised and implemented at some point into animation studios at some point or another was to make the animations from RPG (Role Playing Games.) This way they could see what animations have a better chance at making it than play Russian roulette to see if that's what the audience is looking
