“Fascism is not defined by the number of it’s victims, but by the way it kills them” , Jean-Paul Sartre. In the Novel, The Wave, there are different themes that go along with it. One of those themes is fascism, or more importantly, its natural appeal. Fascism would be the major theme in the novel because of it’s appeal that made The Wave so successful in becoming a militaristic movement.
