Advertisement and marketing is a problem among unhealthy food and fast food restaurants. Many of fast food advertisements advertise using toys and entertainment to encourage people to buy their product. Fast food restaurants using premiums to advertise are a problem in our country and community because they influence people to eat unnutritional foods. Fast food advertisement using toys and entertainment is a growing problem in the United States. The advertisements influence people to eat the food being promoted, and this food is usually non nutritional. “And more than half (56%) of the top restaurant chains do not have a single children’s meal meeting nutrition standards,” (Otten).
