Many Americans are over weight one reason is because many of them eat at fast food restaurants weekly. The National Restaurant Association disagrees with that position. First, it argues that consumers really don't want that information on menus because it will look too "cluttered" and that consumers can already find the information on many company Web sites. According to Campbell, “the industry on the other side is fighting tooth and nail, lobbying the government and undermining efforts to improve the situation.” Restaurants should have nutritional information such as calories, fat content, and sodium on their menus or menu boards.
