Most adults find them in a position, where their late to work and need to get a quick meal, that tastes good, so they go to the most reliable and convenient source to grab a meal...a fast food restaurant! That juicy hamburger, with the cold icy,sizzling coke, with a side of crispy,golden french fries, it sounds pretty good, but does it sound good enough to give the consumer the most unhealthiest illnesses,without even knowing it? In this generation, people want 3 things convenience, easiness, and cheap, and that's what the fast food restaurants give them, but this generation doesn't realize how unhealthy the food is. People who avoid eating fast food are 20 percent less than dying from heart disease, when compared to a person who eats fast food once a week (Pereira). People who eat fast foods 4 times a day are 80 percent in risk of heart disease (Pereira). Why only fast foods? Fast foods contain a large amount of sodium, which can increase the consumer’s blood pressure and make their kidneys work harder, which causes unhealthiness in the cardiovascular health (Pendick). The average american takes in 3,400 mg of sodium per day, when doctor recommendations force us to only consume 2,300 mg a day (Pendick). Harvard researchers researched that 2.3 million deaths occur each year due to the extra consumption of sodium (Pendick). Fast foods are also high in trans-fat which can also increase the risk of heart disease and stroke. Even though, that tasty juicy burger is the easiest and cheapest way to get a tasty meal, it is definitely not the most
