Hook(Anecdote)- “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” Franklin Delano Roosevelt said this in his First Inaugural Address to the nation in March 1933. Franklin D. Roosevelt is saying that the only thing that our nation should be scared of is fear itself and nothing else.
