Because we live in a culture that increasingly leans toward commercialism, materialism, and secularism, it is not always easy to keep the soul nourished. We should identify blessings we received, too often we go through life unaware to the decent that originates flowing into our lives. Do this spiritual practice for just one week: At the end of the day, classify a sacred sign that came to you from a family member. At the end of the second day, a sacred sign from a neighborhood. Third day, from an acquaintance. Fourth day, from a coworker. Fifth day, from an outsider. Sixth day, from a kid. On the seventh day, a blessing that came from an “opponent.”
Take a step of faith, spiritual development means taking a bound of faith from time to time. Rather than trying to get the whole thing in place earlier you start to some degree significant, why not follow God’s foremost and allow the plan to grow? Do this even if the day in advance look as if imminent. Determine every day with an evening prayer of thankfulness to God for the gift of the previous hours. Do this even if you’ve had a very hard day.
