He lead me down a hall, his hand tightly gripping mine. I was walking behind him for the most part, losing myself in my thoughts. Why would they kidnap me? Why Charlie? Are there others here with us? Did they get abused if they didn’t follow the 'rules'? Questions were swarming around my head. I was so consumed by my thoughts I didn’t realize he stopped and I crashed into his back. He glanced back at me and raised an eyebrow. "Sorry," I mumbled not looking at him. Hunter dropped my hand and turned. He grabbed my chin roughly, making me look at him. Behind the bed were three picture frames full of random photos; nothing sentimental about them. On each side of the bed were wooden nightstands with metal lamps with red lamp shades on top. On one table was a vintage looking alarm clock and the other one near the window had a white rectangular vase with blood red roses peaking out. The bed had a little more than half a dozen pillow laying upon the flowery white and purple duvet. Also laying on the duvet was another solid purple blanket and a small figure with matted brown hair. "Charlie!" I yelped running towards her. I ran to her side and dropped to my knees on the small plush carpet. Her eyes look like they had sunk into her head. She looked like hell swallowed her and spit her out. Then again, I probably don’t look any better. I reached my hand out and checked her pulse. "We didn’t kill her, you know," Hunter snickered, leaning against the doorway. Sure enough, there was a pulse. We both looked up and saw Ethan standing there. "Sorry for interrupting, but its almost time for dinner. Hunter wants you both to take showers than come meet us in the dining room. You have 25 minutes," Ethan chirped cheerfully and walked away. I pulled away from Charlie. "I'll be back here in 20, okay?" I told her. She sniffled and nodded her head, showing she understood. I patted her head before hurrying to my room and quickly got in the shower. I wet my hair and grabbed the shampoo. It was the same brand as the one I had back home. A shiver went down my spine. How long have they been watching me? I finished showering and dried my hair. I walked out in just the towel and there were a new set of clothes laying neatly on the newly made bed. I wonder who made it. Shrugging, I slipped the outfit on but kept my necklace chained to my neck. I slip out of my room and to Charlie's.
