In the story “Lemon Brown “ by Walter Dean Myers, the author uses descriptive adjectives, to intrigue the reader into reading more and having interesting vocabulary words to make the the story better. The author uses figurative language to paint a picture into the person who who is reading this story. In the short story “Treasure of Lemon Brown” the author uses metaphors to compare a character to another character.
