This also allows each discipline understand each other and understand the creative inputs added or discussed. Social perceptiveness will be encouraged to be used as it will help each one of us to understand and become aware of how others in the ream function. For example, the editor should have insight and awareness into how the cinematographer operates in order to better understand why the cinematographer would want specific shots for a specific scene and how this can be beneficial and creative in the editing process, and as an editor, having this insight helps to remain true to the original conceptual and emotional intention and reassures the both disciplines are om the same page. “A leader with social perceptiveness has a keen sense of how followers will respond to any proposed change in the organisation (Northouse 2016:50)” which means that the producer/leader will be well aware of how to handle change and how this may affect the individuals in the group and may affect the direction of the concept and making sure that everyone agrees and is comfortable with the change. In a sense, you could say it allows the leader to know the pulse of the followers on any issue at any time. (Northouse 2016:50) In conclusion, remaining true to the original concept is as important as encouraging integration of discipline inputs because it would all be meaningless if the inputs have nothing to do with the original concept and therefore deviates from remaining true to the emotional intention of the film.
