The heroic character also doesn’t get killed until the end of the story which also helps distinguish whether it’s a heroic story or not. In the movie, Jack the Giant Slayer, Jack barely survives every dangerous moment, which shows the character’s strong life. When the Giant meets three men including Jack, he barely escapes death. Jack was hiding under the water, but right front of the Giant, which is impossible to be invisible. We could see the Giants are not that smart through the Giant’s wrinkle because it tells that they are old. However, the Giant finds a man hiding behind the tree but doesn’t realize Jack is front of him hiding.
