Religion in my own view has always been a resource for mankind since the beginning of time, as we know it. The Hindu tradition is one of the greatest and most enduring of mankind’s many attempts to create an order of existence that would make life both tolerable and meaningful. Hinduism is the major religious tradition of the subcontinent of South Asia, with a following in India of nearly three hundred million. Just like all of the other major religions of the world Hinduism has spread beyond its boarders of its homeland, becoming widely practiced in the west and east.
