Over the past few decades, there has been a constant improvement in the quality of healthcare options available to the people. This has been possible due to the improved therapeutic and diagnostic solutions available easily to common man. There has been some major breakthroughs in Healthcare industry in the last few years which has improved the expectancy of life along with the improved quality of life. The number of people seeking healthcare is increasing exponentially due to increase in population across the globe. The number of people retiring in the next few years will put a good amount of pressure on the healthcare platform we have. It will be more and more difficult to provide services to everyone by keeping a good standard of services. There is already shortage of major providers. The price of healthcare services is increasing day by day. This is also taking a toll at our productivity. A McKinsey study from February 2014 shows that there is a decrease in productivity of US healthcare industry by 0.8% yearly from 1990 to 2007, whereas there has been a growth in productivity of the U.S. computer and semiconductor industry by 7.6% yearly during the same time period. Wide range of medical robotics in healthcare Surgical Precision Surgery is considered a very important and skilled task which is considered at best as an unpleasant experience by majority of people who undergo surgery.
