A Disney cruise ship will be embarking on an 8-day 7-night cruise in two weeks with one of the most diverse groups of passengers to date. The passenger manifest consists of individuals from over twenty countries speaking more than fifty unique languages. During the cruise, there are five nights of entertainment that must accommodate the very diverse passenger list. Additionally, there is a risk of the loss of one of the main dancers due to an injury. Providing two weeks of employee training that improves cultural awareness and addresses common language barriers will help ensure that staff is equipped to deal with the diversity of guests.
