The company that I have selected for my final paper is Tesla, Tesla is a very important company because their impacts on the environment as well as their ethical, economic, criteria, formal criteria. Tesla is a unique car manufacturer in that they only produce electric cars. This is important because other car companies are giving off toxic gasses and tesla is taking a stand and helping the environment one car at a time. According to Tesla’s website their mission statement is, “to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy”. As a company, Tesla has a current revenue of seven billion US dollars and currently have an estimated thirty thousand working employees. Tesla does not issue a CSR report. According to Tesla’s website they follow a strict CSR strategy, policy which follows all the rules of human rights, business norms, GRI guidelines, and global UN Compact. Having a strategy that covers these aspects is important because these aspects help the business flourish and be profitable. Tesla’s CSR strategy not only provides measurable data, but it has very well defined goals, according to tesla’s website “to improve CSR effectiveness in satisfying communities, Tesla can implement community development programs”. I would say that Tesla’s CSR strategy is very much so integrated into the governance and other business ethic instruments because the only thing that really matter to Tesla is the customers and the share/stakeholders. They want their company to flourish and for that to happen they need to integrate all their business activities with the business ethic instruments. Finally, Teslas’s CSR strategy noticeably reduces all ethical issues because of the way they handle their company and the way they treat their employees and customers to avoid any ethical issues that might
