The rapidly growing demand for data centers requires a carefully regulated set of instructions/ guidelines for measuring the efficiency of energy consumed by these facilities. This report aims to recognize rating systems that currently establish guidelines to gauge sustainability of data centers and rate such facilities based on energy efficiency. Along with comprehending the list of such organizations, the report will also discuss the different metrics, which these rating systems base their analysis on. The report also aims to shed light at modern enterprise data center solutions like Facebook’s open data center design and Google’s proclaimed most efficient Data Center design.
