Fitness Plan Paper When thinking about fitness we take into consideration the 5 basic components of fitness, which are: cardiorespiratory endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance, body composition and flexibility. Cardiorespiratory endurance is the ability of the body’s respiratory and circulatory systems to provide the entire body energy during some type of physical activity. Muscular strength and muscular endurance go hand in hand since they both deal with the muscles of the body. Strength pertains to the ability of the muscle to produce force during an activity, and endurance deals with the muscle carrying out force without fatigue. I, however, do a lot of physical activity throughout the day, whether it be at school or work. At school I walk on campus from class to class instead of driving my car around, and I work as a waitress, so I am on my feet a lot walking around. Although I do tend to have active days it is not the physical activity needed to be healthy, fit, or to satisfy the 5 basic components. I am going to strive to get my fitness activity levels higher than what they are currently. Each day will consist of different exercises that will work out different areas in my body. Monday I will do: high knees, some walking and jogging in place and butt kicks. Tuesday will consist of pushups, pile squats leg lifts, planks, calf raises and plank jacks. Wednesday involves some jumping jacks, high knees, butt kicks and walking in place. Thursday has V pushups, Russian twists, planks, calf raises, pile squats and plank jacks. Finally Friday I will be doing V pushups, lunges, calf raises, Russian twists, planks, and jumping jacks. The workouts are will not be strenuous for the first month because it is made to accommodate my beginning level of
