My explanation of the picture is that it captures a robbery that is taking place during the day. The crime taking place would normally be expected to happen at night. It is interesting that it is going on in full daylight. The meaning I decipher from the picture is that people are not safe even during the day. This is a time people feel the safest and are likely to have let their guard down. It is, therefore, advisable that people should always be on guard 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

It is clear from the background of the image that the streets are deserted, and the two are all alone on the sidewalk. Person 2 states that this means in order to stay safe, people should avoid deserted and isolated places.

Person 3 says that the picture indicates the helplessness victims feel when they have been attacked. From the image, it is clear that the victim is overpowered by the victim. Person 3 further says that in the picture, the victim has little or no choice but to comply with the wishes or demands of the robber. According to her, this means that people should be equipped with skills and resource that can assist them in repulsing off similar such attacks.

Person 4 says that the picture shows a woman who cannot even scream for help when under attack. The image calls to attention the desperate situation that women find themselves in during an attack. The robber in the picture shows how easy it is to snatch a woman’s handbag from her. The robber only uses his hands and utilizes no special skills or weapons. However, in general, there are two critical opinions propagated by the five individuals. One group comprised of person 1, person 3 and person 4 focus on the vulnerability of victims. The second group comprised of person 2 and person 5 concentrate on the genius of the robber. The differences between these groups is that the first seeks to make the victim better equipped to handle such attacks. The second group, on the other hand, seeks to eliminate the robber. The first group also identifies women as vulnerable groups in the society while the second group does not. The similarity between the two groups is that they both hold the opinion that the robber has a significant advantage over the
