How to Survive a Plaque by David France and United in Anger by Jim Hubbard are both historical documentary films that talk about the history of the organization created called ACT UP. ACT UP is for the AIDS activist movement from people with all different perspectives such as people from the trenches to people having the disease and fighting it. The film was made to expand the news on the movement and to try to show the effect AIDS had on people. Interviews, footage of protests and speeches from the members of ACT UP were all recoded for these films. They were all personal and true stories that were told to help the future generations and to prevent something similar happening again.

Although storms like Hurricane Katrina occur once in every one hundred years, being prepared and storing water, food, medicines, and other supplies keep families ready for any disaster. Natural disasters can leave communities without power for days and even for weeks. Being prepared in the event of severe weather and disasters like Hurricane Katrina, can reduce fear and anxiety that accompanies disasters. A crucial element of self-sufficient living is survival. Our government does not have all the resources to be totally prepared to take care of the vast numbers of people in a disaster.
I believe the Christians and Muslims,during the 1300’s, had very different responses to the”The Black Death” or “The Plague.” The Christians and Muslims had the same foundation in their religions. Each religion has a man who spoke to or is from God. The religions both believe that the disease was a punishment from God, but went about in different ways; however, the religions have done so many things together during the disease, they also agree that the Jews were the ones to bring The Plague to Europe.
Where are places safe? Where are they unsafe? One might also put maps in places that people could find them, showing some places for others to get away from the zombies.
