There is never a convenient time for a flat tire, it is rarely notice while parked and it will leave

you stranded on the side the road. When a tire loses all its air, it loses the ability to support weight. If a

tire goes flat while driving, you will hear and feel the vibration from the suspension and usually causes a

heavy pull towards the side of the flat tire. It is important to selected a proper spot to pull out of the

road, following a few safety measures to protect yourself, and following a few simple steps will help you

replace the flat tire and have you back on the road in no time.

Remember to keep the lug nuts nearby to avoid losing any of them, and a great option would

be to use the hubcap as a recipient. Proceed to place the jack in the indicated areas shown on the jack or

the vehicle owner´s manual, lift it the vehicle from the ground with just enough distance to allow you to

remove the flat tire and place the replacement tire. Place the lug nuts and do not tighten with the

wrench, just keep in mind that it must be enough to keep the tire in place. Proceed to lower the vehicle,

remove the jack and using the wrench you can now tighten the nuts clock-wise. The final step would be

to put into the trunk the cone or triangle, wrench, jack, other tools and damaged tire, to then remove

the objects placed on the other tires and be able to continue with your trip, not forgetting to your flat

tired repaired as soon as possible.

To select the appropriate spot, keeping in mind the safety measures, and to follow the steps,

serve as an advantage of knowing to change a flat tire. The negative part of course is getting dirty and

the possibility of destroying the vehicle if you incorrectly use the equipment so you must be familiarize
