1. Marketing corporate gift products to companies such as Orbitz and MTV could affect sales by bringing more publicity to the store. When customers see these products given to famous people and companies, they may be more tempted to visit Flight 001. The more people visit the store, the more sales Flight 001 is going to make.
2. Some potential issues that could arise while trying to balance wholesale and retail businesses is that Flight 001 could become way more focused on pushing out large quantities of products and loose focus on the personal touch that average consumers want. Evo does not need to tailor their marketing to different countries because they are all interested in purchasing the highest quality equipment for the best price. I agree with their decision because I think it would be a waste of resources to try and tailor their product to different markets. I think it would be a waste because their clients seem to have the same mindset when purchasing ski or snowboard equipment and tailoring to different markets would not benefit the company. Also, less than 5% of Evo’s sales are international.

6. A challenge that Evo and other ecommerce businesses face are what products they are able to ship overseas. Some companies do not want their products in certain markets in order to not oversaturate the market. Another reason for a company to limit sales to certain markets is that they do not want to have one vendor providing all of their products in that market. This is because it could create an unfair environment for other vendors. I believe that brands do have the right to limit sales to international markets. The manufacturers are giving vendors the right to sell their products and the manufacturer should be able to specify what they want the vendors to do with their
