Former undisputed world middleweight champion Marvelous Marvin Hagler took his sentiments to social media and broadcasted his desire to see a Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Gennady Golovkin fight in September.

Boxing News 24 reported that the 61-year-old Hall of Famer believes that the pay-per-view king should face the current WBA and IBO middleweight champion for his supposed to be last fight before retirement this fall.

Hagler, who expressed his opinion via a series of posts in his official Twitter account on Thursday, said that if his contemporary and fellow legend four-division champion Roberto Duran could fight bigger men than himself, then Mayweather should also do the same to prove that he is one of the greatest boxers of all time.
