Being employed at Occupational Medicine the Chief Administrator has the leader power as both affiliative and democratic leadership. The Chief Administrator is affiliative because he continually gives each employee positive feedback as well as motivating each staff member on a regular base. However, there are days when he uses democratic leading power to allow each employee the chance to speak out and ask questions concerning the organization mission. According to Boykins, Campbell, Corey, Harp, Mason, & Stanton, (2015), leadership is leaders encouraging supporters to act for certain goals that epitomize the values and the motivations the wants and needs of the leader and follower.
