The importance of following directions the first time they are given is because your teacher can give you directions that are to save your life and if you don't listen you may end up dead if this was a life or death situation. If we follow directions the first time that they are given then we would be able to get through all or at least half of our lessons in one or two class periods. I truly believe that Mrs. Epps really care about us and our grade because if she didn't she would let us do whatever we please in her class. I think we should respect Mrs. Epps because like they say in order to receive respect you must give respect and we wouldn't want Mrs. Epps to disrespect us so we should not disrespect her.
