The food truck industry’s annual revenue is about $960 million (IBIS World, 2017) and is skyrocketing, “growing at an annual 7.9 percent over the past five years” (Food Truckr, LLC, 2017) and is continuing to grow. Plus, the average revenue that is generated per food truck is roughly $291,000 with an average spending order around $12.40 (Myrick, 2015). Sam’s Fresh and Fit Food Truck has a superior outlook on projected sales for starting out in two different categories. The first one is of course in the food truck market with a great revenue stream in the industry. Plus, there is room for the company to come in and quickly, or at least try to gain market share.
