You need to know the basics of football.
If you’re going to play any position on the football field then you’ll have to know the basics, like tackling, blocking, catching, and shedding a block. If you can’t do any of these things, then you probably shouldn’t be playing. 2. You have to be able to take a hit.
If you’re a cornerback, then you’re probably smaller than the other guys on your team, and the other team, so you’ll probably get knocked around a lot, which is why you have to be able to take a hit and keep moving. This is why you have to stay low and take out the legs, it may not be that big hit tackle, but it gets the job done, and that’s what is important. 3. Getting burnt is part of the game.
Sometimes you’ll end up getting burnt (when you let the receiver score a touchdown). Maybe you tripped, or your not fast enough, tall enough, or you just got burnt, no excuses, the guy just plain out beat you.
