Although Both Football and Rugby are both aggressive sports that share similar concepts rugby is more contact because unlike American Football Rugby players do not wear protective padding. Also Rugby is a international sport and American Football Is a USA sport. The games are similar in ways, In Football there can only be 11 people on the field from each team at once however in Rugby there are 15 people on the field.
