The marvelous story, written by Elizabeth Sandoval “For Big Bruno, A Man We Can Look Up To,” tells us about a true man, who dedicated his whole life trying to bring all possible goods for his loved ones and friends. Sandoval says: “He defines that role as being someone who does good, loves everyone and doesn't expect anything in return,” and indeed, who else can deserve a “hero” title more than this gentleman? I never was thinking about my mom this way, but after reading a story I could make some comparisons and come up with a conclusion- my mother is my hero!
According to Sandoval, a hero is somebody who can make u feel safe and calm when you are around. For me, a hero is someone who is willing to put a hundred percent effort into protecting you from pain, someone who will stop at nothing to provide you with the security of safety and will share with you the knowledge required for survival. I believe a hero is somebody you can look up to in certain aspects of your life and follow their guidelines to live up to their perspectives. I can honestly say my Mother has been my hero my entire life.
