The 3.5-liter twin turbo V-6 engine fits that bill. The new V-6 has more horsepower and torque than previous generations of V-6 ford trucks. The truck has 375 horsepower and 470 pound foot of torque and gives an impressive performance when towing or hauling cargo. The F-150 can tow up to 11,800 pounds and has a maximum payload of 1,590 pounds that the truck carries with ease. Ford was successful in creating more torque with the V-6 than competitors, but it still produces less horsepower than the V-8.The acceleration in the F-150 Eco-boost starting from a stopped position has had a little delay in previous years making it frustrating when you need the power quickly, to get out of the way of another vehicle. Ford has more interior options than choices for cereal at a grocery store. There is the choice between cloth and leather seats, which most trucks have, but the front and rear seats can also be individually heated.
