The 2019 Ford Focus ST-Line
The Ford Focus 4th generation is here and from the looks, its DNA has evolved; the ST-Line is quite a looker that will surely attract more enthusiasts. The ST-Line which is the sport-oriented version of the Focus hatchback looks more aggressive on the outside and more refined on the inside along with lots of new technologies. The new ST-Line will particularly outshine the Chevy Cruze and Honda Civic in the market. However, we have to wait until next year to see the Focus stateside although it goes on sale in Europe in the second half of this year.

Compared to the outgoing model, the 2019 model’s wheelbase is two inches longer and has a coefficient of drag of 0.273 which is among the best in the segment thanks to the C2 platform that underpins the new Focus models. The ST-Line looks more solid and aggressive on the flanks. The creases on the flanks give the ST-Line a dedicated stance unlike the base Focus models. From the first glance, it is difficult to know that this is a Focus from the rear were it not for the Ford badge and the “Focus” lettering. The huge center stack has been replaced by a new, floating infotainment system. The HVAC vents and control system of the infotainment system is shaped like the front fascia’s radiator grille; the vents and control system feature a chrome strip to make them look more stylish. The usual gear shifter is no more, in its place is a rotary unit; the cup-holders that flank it are longitudinally aligned.
