France is located in the continent Europe around the western part. The population of the country is around 66.97 Million, which is ranked in 21st in the world. (CIA - People and Society, 2017) The size of the country is 643,801 km2, which is ranked 44th place. (CIA -Geography, 2017) The type of government there is Semi-presidential republic. France is very diverse country with all its different food, culture and arts. France is a country rich in cultural, physical, and human characteristics making immigrants from France an ideal fit to join Canada’s cultural mosaic.
Cultural
The cultural of France is very diverse. There are many religions living there including Christian, Muslim, Buddhist and etc. Christian is the biggest religion there with a 63% of its population being it. Metropolitan France is the main part of France population. They have generally cool winter and mild summer. French Gulana is another climate which is tropical, meaning its mostly hot and humid Climate relating to Canada is pretty similar because Canada usually has cool winters and mild summer. The landscaping of France is very diverse as Canada. France mean elevation is 375m. The land of France is mostly used on agriculture with a percentage of 52.7% of its land used on agricultural. France’s Natural resources include iron, coal ore and gold deposits. (CIA – Geography , 2017)France agricultural land area compared to Canada is very different because almost all of France has good climate for farming.
