Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen, How are you all today? I hope all is well and if not then I hope you pray for better days. I am here today March 17, 1904 to tell you about all the discrimination that the Negro race has and has had in the past. It’s not nice knowing all the pain the white men (White folks) put us through when they captured and shipped us overseas as if we were animals. It is bittering sad knowing that the white men still have so much hate towards us. They have limited us with many resources we “can do” but still violate those laws and don’t get punished for it. Our kids get bullied at school because of the color of their skin. Our people also get discriminated by the local doctors knowing that black people don’t have the knowledge to know anything about any injuries or diseases. Some things need to change to make this country great. Our race has been working in agriculture ever since they brought us here and we still continue to do so as it is shown on The pie chart on Source #3. It shows where and on what our race has been working, “55% in Agriculture, 20% in Domestic, 10% in Manufacturing and Trades, and only 5% in Professions.” Our people need to start going out there and start working in professions or somewhere where they earn more money. I wish more of our race would really go work in professions to show the white men that we ain’dumb, and so that it can maybe help us in the long run with standing up against the white men because I've had enough, and i'm sure you guys have
