Frankenstein vs Ex Machina
This essay is about the contrast between Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein and Alex Garland's film Ex Machina .Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein and Alex Garland's film Ex Machina both explore the theme, relationships, and Symbols and of creation and its consequences, but do so in different ways. Both the novel and film raise questions about the ethics of scientific progress, the pursuit of knowledge, the relationship between creator and creation, and the limitations of human knowledge.
In Frankenstein, Victor Frankenstein's obsession with creating life leads him down a dangerous path, ultimately resulting in the creation of a monster that he cannot control.

The film explores the theme of the work of knowledge, as Nathan is driven by a desire to create artificial intelligence that is identical to human intelligence. Nathan argues: "One day the AIs are going to look back on us the same way we look at fossil skeletons on the plains of Africa. In Frankenstein, Victor's attempts to create life are eventually useless, as his creation turns out to be a monster that he cannot control.
