The story begins with Captain Robert Walton being present in St. Petersburg, Russia, He was waiting around for a ride to Archangel, where he was going to hire some Russians to go sailing off to the North Pole. Unfortunately, the boat gets stuck in hard ice hundreds of miles from land.With nothing else to do, he starts to write letters to his sister back in England, and talks about how he wants a male intellectual friend to keep him company. Soon, Walton's despair is interrupted by the sight of a man….The man boards the ship, and it seems as if Walton's wish for a friend has come true. The servant, Justine, is accused of killing him. Victor thinks that it was the monster but thinking that no one would believe him, he didn't say anything.Victor, then goes on a trip to the Swiss Alps for a break. Coincidentally , he runs into the monster, who confesses to the crime and tells Victor about how he killed William. When Frankenstein runaway, he found himself alone and hideous. When he ran across William, he killed the boy out of rage .Victor agrees to give Frankenstein a female friend in order to keep him company. He goes to an island to work. But, just before he finishes, he destroys the second monster: because he was afraid that the two will bring destruction to humanity rather than love each other harmlessly. Frankenstein sees him do this and swears to take revenge again. The monster then kills Henry. This happens while Victor returns to Geneva and prepares to marry Elizabeth, but he's a little worried about the monster’s threats to him. On the night he and Elizabeth are married, the monster kills Victor’s bride,This causes Victor's father to pass away from grief. Alone and wanting revenge, Victor chases the monster through a lot of difficult places. until he is ragged and near death. And then we're back up the present to when he finds Walton's ship, tells his story, and dies.We are made to believe that this scene would be the end but it's not. Later Walton discovers the monster crying over Victor's dead
