Frankenstein is a novel that was written in 1818 by Mary Shelley. The book was first published in her husband’s name and then was later on published correctly in her name. This novel starts out this Victor writing letters to his family back home. He was writing to them about the voyage he was on and what was all going on. In these letters he tells about this man he picked up out of the ocean and allowed on his ship. He says the man was basically dead, but they were working on making him well again. Then once the man start to feel better the real story begins. It starts out with the creation of a man, prevails dead man, and how this man was brought back to life. Once the creature is created it goes into its story. This is where the creature learns how to read, wright, speak, and how to interact with others. He help out the family secretly because the family was poor. The creature leaves the cottagers and goes out on his own, then he kills two people. This is where his creator come back and talks to him about things. Then the creature tells him that he wants a companion and that he was the creator to make another person like him, but in female form. He wants someone like him, so he will not be alone and there will be someone to love him. The creature tell his creator that if this does not happen bad things will come to him. Then the creator start to make the creator and companion then he start to think of what could go wrong and he destroys the second’s creation. Then like the creature said he did something to the creator and his wife. Then the story returns to the boat
