Frankenstein was very fast to judge what he had made just on how he looked . Chapter 20. He instantly judged his creation for the way it looked and made him feel horrible. He hated the creation he made. The creature being made has no idea what is going on; he's like a newborn child. He was looked upon as a gross, hideous thing. This made the creature sad because all he wanted was love an acceptance from his creator. He was brought sorrow from his creator for leaving and judging him. In chapter sixteen the the creature met the De Laceys; he watched them through a small hovel at the back of their home. He learned to read and speak so he could show them himself. As he showed the De Laceys himself they were frightened because of his appearance. They were so scared of him just because of his appearance that it caused them to leave their small cottage even without money. No one gave him a chance Agatha fainted, Safie fled, and Felix held a stick to the creature making him leave the cottage. They were afraid of the way the creature looked they were afraid the creature was going to hurt
