Whenever there is revenge there is hate. Hate fuels the world there is no doubt about that. There is many themes in frankenstein but a major one is revenge victor seeks it and so does the monster. The monster feels that victor is the reason for his anguish “ Cursed Cursed Cursed Why did i live? Why in that instant did you not extinguish the life that is me” as seen on page 124 it is the monster who blames victor for brining him into this cursed world and he wants victor to seek revenge for his life of lonliness and suffering. The way to a disaster is you bring it upon yourself. This is exactly what Victor did to his monster and himself. Victor Frankenstein wanted to make the monster for the good of human race but really did it for selfish reasons. Victor said after he made the creature, "The beauty of my dream vanished, and breathless horror filled my heart." First of all that's Victor's first fault, being selfish wanting to have all the power and attention. Maybe Frankenstein created the monster through his own rejection, not through lab experiments. I feel that by Victor's escape from the monster was his escape from people by distancing himself from them. Even though he kept his distance from the monster it still had feeling, he not only had feelings but he was very much like a new toddler. The monster was very innocent and peaceful until he was damaged from reading books and seeing the real world. This then turned the monster evil and made Victor's life miserable. Frankenstein still tried to convince himself that his creation was not a real human being and couldn't be capable of what he did yet the monster showed him wrong. That he was human after
