Franklin D. Roosevelt was the brave soul who took on the task of being the President of the United States during the midsts of The Great Depression and throughout World War II. He was elected into office at the age of 51, at the time having no idea he would be the only President to be elected to office four times until he passed away in office. He was born in Hyde Park, New York and went to college at Harvard University prior to attending the Columbia Law School. Roosevelt did not get into politics until the 1900’s after being inspired by his cousin, Theodore Roosevelt. Finally in 1910 his political career began after being elected into the New York Senate. Although he did not start his presidency until 1933, he had a diverse political experience
