My final is about the difference between the book and the movie “The Outsiders.” This next paragraph is about the description difference between the book and movie. Then the paragraph after that will be about the description of the background or cars that the characters drive or live in. I think that the move and the book where basted of the same story but I think that when the directors made the movie with some different cars or house that can change the movie or they put different things in it so that the movie will look better. Altogether the movie and the book were pretty good and had good meaning to it about want to think of life and it’s alright to not be tough and hard.
For example, in the book, only one person drowns Pony, but in the movie, three people drowned him. This is different because in the book Pony is being drowned at the water fountain by only one person. On the other hand in the movie Pony is getting drowned by three people instead of one like it is in the story. Another comparison between the book and the movie would be when Ponyboy goes to court and doesn’t testify in the book, but in the movie he does. These are different because in the book when Pony has to go to court for the murder of Bob he doesn’t testify in the movie when he goes to court he does testify.

Although the movie has advantages to watching it also has some disadvantages too. A disadvantage is that the movie is that things are changed or left out, but when you read the book you get the full and original story. While reading the book the reader will probably notice that things are much better explained, but when you watch the movie things are left out. When you read the book you understand what is happening more.

While racism is present in The Wednesday Wars, the subject is not present in The Outsiders.
The movie also missed critical events and that the author has included in her book, including Sandy, Ponyboy ’s talk with Cherry Valance about sunsets, the streetlight in which Dally died, the hearing of Ponyboy’s fate at court, and Sodapop’s horse Mickey Mouse. The book gives more information to the main characters childhood. As the moive started it just wasn't detailed enough. The book is better detailed and describe the characters emotions. For example in the moive Max didn't fully act out the emotions that was described in the book.
