Can someone force you to commit an act they believe is wrong? Here are two aspects of our lives that we control. You have control of yourself you choose what you want to do in your life no one chooses it for you. You also have control of the decisions you make it can be good or bad. If you do something good you choose to do that no anybody else. You also don't have control of your future, it has already been set. Fate can't control our future either. Your destiny can be changed by your actions just like in the poems I read. In Shakesphere's "Macbeth" "If" and "The Sports Gene" it is proven that we can control our own decisions but we have no control over our own future. In "Macbeth" Macbeth is becoming more ruthless "he doesn't care about anybody else's future". His future has been set already he can't change it, he knows what's coming for him. Also in "The Sports Gene" he had semblance of the back arch that every other pro jumpers does he would have shattered the world record. If Thomas wants to beat the world record he has to try really hard to deserve to beat the world record. So its his decision, if he wants to beat the world record he need to think about what he wants to do. No one is going to choose for him its going to be his future so its up to him what he wants to do. The events that will necessarily happen to a particular person in the future. Like Thomas he has to work think about his decision and work really hard and if he works hard enough he will beat the world record. He is just like Macbeth, he is honorable and brave but his destiny can be changed by his actions. Both Macbeth and Thomas future has been set and they can't do anything to change that. Not even their fate, it can't control their
