I- Introduction

In 1789, France was an absolute monarchy. The importance of the middle class had absorbed the ideology of egality and liberty of the person. They attact the antidemocracy nature from the government, they pushed to the liberty. During the project I’m going to talk about the French Revolution, how it was during this period, and how it ends.

II- The beginning of the French Revolution (1789)

The French Revolution started in 1789 with the ascent of Napoleon Bonaparte. During this period the French citizen raised and resigned their country’s political landscape uprooting centuries-old institutions such as absolute monarchy and feudal system. The French armies lacked organization and discipline, and many noble offices had emigrated. At this time, there was two coalitions the first one began in 1792 with the convention issued a decree offering assistance to all people wishing to recover their liberty. This decree is the execution of Louis XVI on January, 1793 and the opening of the Scheldt estuary provoked great Britain, Holland and Spain to join Austria and Prussia in the first coalition against France. The second coalition was formed by Russia, Austria, Britain, Turkey, Portugal, and Naples. France defeated Naples and transformed it into the Parthenopean Replublic on January. 1799 but in Italy the Austrians and Russians drove out the French in August,
