On July,14,1789 as the third estate was attending there meeting King Louis XVI decide to lock them out. King Louis XVI locked them out because they couldn’t decide on anything. Then they gathered and found a nearby tennis court and made an oath that to never separate until a constitution had been established for France. Also after that king, Louis XVI surrendered and ordered the clergy and nobility to join the third estate in the national assembly.

Also known as the October march. There were about 7000 women armed with pitchforks and muskets. They went there and they were chanting bread, bread, bread because as they were starving the king and queen lived happily. So they demanded to meet the king and asked politely to return with them to Paris and he agreed.

On Jan,21,1793 King Louis was convicted of conspiracy with foreign powers. Few days before the execution King Louis was spotted trying to run out of the country. He was trying to run out of the country so he can make a counter-revolution and get help from the other countries to attack France. Then he was taken back and sentenced to death by the French National Convection. He wished heed never ran away. Then he was sent to the guillotine and was killed in front of thousands of people.

On Sept,5,1793 the reign of terror began. It started in Sept,5,1793 and ended July,27,1794. This year was the worst year of the revolution. It all happened after French first republic. They were very strict and everybody who was against the revolution in any way shape or form is sentenced to death immediately. This is why it was called the terror. During the terror, the committee of public safety rose and it was held by Robespierre. Also in this year, about 40,000 people were killed and 85% were from the third
